I saw this yarn at the Loopy Ewe in Fort Collins and it just called out to me so I got enough for a sweater “just in case.”
When the #blamedunderknitalong KAL started, I just knew I’d have to use this yarn for one of my projects. I know it is…or wants to be… a colorful cardigan.
So I swatched…
And swatched some more…
Now the hard part: making a decision.
You know what happens when I have a hard time making a color decision? I add more possibilities to my choices list!
So, I dug through my stash some more and found some minis and another merino singles – all of which are colors that are in the coral colorway of the Uschitita. If I decide to add any are all of those to this project, then I’ll probably go with the lighter purple mohair – the color called Imperial – because it brightens up everything. But, if I just stick with the two colors of Uschitita, then I’m not sure what I’ll do.
Of course, these are not my only design decisions. I also have to figure out if I want to do some sort of stranded or mosaic colorwork or if strips are the way to go or even if I just want to do some texture. <sigh>In the meantime, I will just work on my other #blamedunderknitalong projects – a cowl and a wrap.
