Another kind of fiber-related fun…
As a somewhat obsessive person 🙂 who also loves to learn, I tend to embrace all aspects of whatever it is that has my interest. In the case of fiber fun, that means learning about everything from the natural history of various fiber producing plants and animals to the crafts of knitting, weaving, and crocheting. So, it should come as no surprise that I set a goal to develop some technical editing skills!
Fortunately, there are many wonderful informal and formal learning opportunities available to help me achieve my goals. I’ve already explored lots of great information and ideas from folks such as Jen Arnall-Culliford, Kate Atherley, Kristin TenDyke, and Edie Eckman. Additionally, I’ve registered for the TKGA certification course for Technical Editors. Given those amazing resources, I’m hopeful that my learning journey will be enjoyable and rewarding.
I’m looking forward to exploring this new aspect of my fiber obsession. Of course, I’ll blog all about it. If you’re interested, you can follow my progress via my posts in the Writing & Editing Patterns category.
